Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The portions are generous, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food and service. Definitely one of our favorite spots for Chinese takeout in the area. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like House of Chan in Sterling Heights, but the experience was pretty disappointing. The food is advertised or expected to be more Mandarin-style, but what I got didn’t match that at all in quality or execution. Everything came out tasting bland and poorly balanced, like the seasoning was completely off. Instead of bold, clean flavors you’d expect, the dishes just felt flat and unappealing. Some items also seemed rushed or not freshly prepared, especially anything fried, which ended up soggy instead of crisp. Even basic staples like rice and sides didn’t help improve the meal they were just average at best. For a place with a decent reputation, the food honestly came out awful compared to expectations. Service was okay, but the main issue was clearly the kitchen. I won’t be returning I only really like Cantonese Chinese food.

Can't say I do not enjoy their food...I do. I order from here on a regular basis and at least 2-3X a year order enough to feed 15 of us. BUT... the Menu on their website, online ordering, shows almond boneless chicken with lettuce... it does not come with lettuce unless you pay an additional 2.50. Scallions are normally part of the dish... not here. Paid 1.50 for scallions and got maybe 10-12 little pieces. So Almond Boneless Chicken on menu for 13.99 plus 4 dollars to be prepared with what is usually standard in ABC. Also ordered a large Wonton Soup... which normally comes with soup noodles... was told I had to ask for them and would've been given a sample bag or could pay another 1.50 for the bag I have always gotten WITH the soup... Times are tough, I get it. But at least prepare the dish the way you present it on your own website (raise the price accordingly if necessary) and make up your mind on the soup noodles. Sad to say I'll be looking at other options in the future.

We did have to wait for our order the whole lobby was full ! Only one lady getting orders ready. But worth the wait.

The food is so good. I usually get shrimp fried rice with medium spice and it’s delicious every time. The shrimp fried rice box (pictured) is empty because it’s so yummy. Also their shrimp has never done me wrong.
